We welcome well-behaved dogs in our two dedicated pet-friendly rooms (Room 6 and Room 7).
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests and our resident animals, please review our dog policy before booking. I know it sounds like a lot, but we really do enjoy having the odd dog to stay as we are too busy to responsibly have our own.
Booking & Eligibility

Direct Bookings Only: Dog-friendly stays must be booked directly with us (not via third-party sites).

Pre-Booking Required: You must register your dog at the time of booking. Dogs brought to non-designated rooms will not be permitted to stay.

Limits & Fees: 1 dog per room, charged at £10 per stay.

Age & Health: Dogs must be at least 12 months old, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on flea and worm treatments.

Behavior: We cannot accept dogs that bark excessively.
On-Site Animals & Safety

Property Pets: We have 2 rescue cats. Please do not bring your dog if they have a strong prey drive or aggression toward smaller animals.

Leash Requirement: Dogs must remain on a lead in all outdoor areas and arrivals zones, as other guests and local livestock are nearby.

Unattended Dogs: Dogs must never be left alone in your room.
Room Rules & Cleanliness

Furniture & Beds: Dogs are strictly not allowed on furniture or beds. An extra cleaning fee applies if pets have been on the bedding.

Paws & Mud: Wash muddy paws at the outside tap by the farmhouse using the dedicated pet towels provided (please do not use our bathroom towels).
Dining & Breakfast

Dining Room Access: For hygiene reasons, dogs are not permitted in the Dining Room.

Breakfast Options: During breakfast, please leave your dog in your car (weather permitting), dine al fresco with your pet, or request breakfast in your room. We are happy to bring brekkie to you if required!
Walking & The Countryside Code

Waste Disposal: Please clean up after your dog everywhere, including local fields. Eco-friendly poop bags are provided in your room; dispose of used bags in the green wheelie bins in the lane by the Farm House.

Livestock & Trails: Follow the Countryside Code (found in your room’s blue Welcome Folder) and keep dogs under close control near field livestock.
Parking – On site parking is available at no charge.

Excellent cake and coffee, as it was Easter, the crème egg bombs were amazing, we were trying to deconstruct the recipe! Lovely baking. Very friendly attentive and accommodating, will go back next time to sample lunch (also looked appetising !)
Great location. Fabulous breakfast. Comfortable room. We had a very warm welcome and had everything we needed for a wonderful short break. The view from the room was perfect. The pub next door was a huge bonus!
